about the writer…

brief bio:

jersey born and raised (well i guess not technically jersey born. officially born in queens but whatever lol). brief stint in lewisburg, pa for school. was a fun experience and i wouldn’t have changed that but jersey is where i belong.

graduate of Rutgers University (class of 2009!!). Got my bachelor’s in cultural anthropology. don’t ask me what i’m going to do with it because i haven’t the slightest idea. i love to learn and that’s what drew me to the discipline. I highly recommend taking a least one or two anthro classes in your college career if you’re interested in just learning.

I’m currently in a state of in between. whatever i do. whereever i end up. i’m confident i’ll make it work. if not, onto the next one! the world is not set in stone so i’m allowing myself to see where life takes me.

a little about myself:

i’m a million different things that seem to work well together (most of the time). i think i have a lot traits that contradict each other. it’s like two sides of a coin and depending on my mood, one side shows up.

i’m quiet and reserved. but at times i don’t know how to shut up and i’m kinda crazy and ridiculous. (true story, ask around lol)

i’m quite easy-going and very flexible. but again at times, i am firm in my opinion and will not be budged.

i’m usually very responsible and practical. but i’ve learned over the years to keep a nice balance of good and bad behavior.

and i am not a hater but i will let my opinion be known. you certainly don’t have to agree with me as i certainly will not always agree with everyone else.

i love my family and friends (old and new). they keep me sane and happy. and i am who i am today because of each and every one of them (for better or for worse).

i have been very fortunate to date and i am truly thankful for everyone in my life. i may not be so good at expressing my gratitude or feelings but please know that you all mean a great deal to me =)

i’ve accumulated quite the collection of nicknames over the years and i think i live up to all of them lol. so from hot becky to cold bexy…and everything in between. this is me…
